FIRST Robotics Team
We are Jefferson High School's FIRST Robotics team.
Each year, Team 2470 competes in multiple competitions held by FIRST Robotics, which require teams to design and construct real robots that accomplish amazing feats.
Through a combination of teamwork, leadership, craftsmanship, and the arts, our team is able to push the boundaries of what motivation and hard work can accomplish. That's why We Robot.
As its name suggests, FIRST strives to encourage our future citizens to be science and technology enthusiasts, and to build leaders in the field.

The cyborg pink flamingo is the embodiment of our strength, determination, inspiration, and team unity, and he goes by the name of Bjorg.
Inspiring the Jefferson High School robotics team, Bjorg's expertise and magnificent creation is a tribute to his followers. Together, they will paint the world pink, winning competitions and making the world a safer place.
Team 2470 is excited to enter the arena for FIRST's 10,000 Lakes Regionals robotics competition. Join us at the competition to witness our bot in action!
