CAD uses Onshape to design the parts and systems of the robot, working within the constraints of each year's challenge, the team's strategy, available resources, and feedback from subteams.
Build team is responsible for constructing the robot, fabricating parts, and providing design feedback to the CAD team. During competition, they are responsible for repairs.

Competition Driving
Drive operates the robot in Competition.
Driver 1 moves the robot, Driver 2 operates the system, Coach directs the team and communicates with Alliance partners, and the Human Player watches the field and feeds game pieces during competition.
Strategy and Scouting analyzes the game each season and figures out the best method to score points; which helps build team decide how to construct the robot.
Safety manages and develops protocols and guidelines to reduce the possibility of injuries, assist and document in the event of injury, and promote and ensure safe practices at all times.
For more information, visit the FIRST Safety Portal. Each year, FIRST publishes a safety manual.
